Paty works in the field of transformations; she works in diverse territories by creating and facilitating collaborative spaces and processes that seek to bring together different forms of knowledge to foster collective action towards just and sustainable futures.

Postdoctoral researcher at LANCIS – Institute of Ecology at UNAM. She is involved in research with and for vulnerable rural communities in extractive contexts, using participatory methodologies, strategies for knowledge dissemination, and other approaches to scientific inquiry.
