Amy conducts research on land use change processes, especially at the rural-urban frontier; sustainable urban planning, resilience, green infrastructure; urban and peri-urban agriculture, as well as the science-public policy interface.

Emilio works in consulting and research on sustainability, socio-ecological modeling, resilience, environmental public policy instruments and participatory processes in natural resource management.

Edwin works in research, capacity building and process facilitation in sustainable wetland use and nutrient flux modeling in wetland ecosystems.

Elsa has been working for 20 years in ecological restoration with a participatory and citizen science approach, training diverse audiences in conservation, agroecology and sustainable use of natural systems such as the chinampas of Xochimilco.

Mario is a researcher at IIMAS-UNAM in Yucatan. He works on sustainability, complex systems and affectivity in socio-ecological problems, integrating quantitative and qualitative methods. He collaborates with international institutions and is founder of the Transdisciplinary Collective, Art and Cognition (TACo).

Marisa is a biologist and researcher in sustainable water use and monitoring in urban and rural socio-ecosystems in Mexico. She works at UNAM, has more than 100 publications and belongs to SNI Level III.

Postdoctoral Researcher at LANCIS-Institute of Ecology, UNAM. She participates in research with and for vulnerable rural communities in extractivist contexts through participatory methodologies, knowledge circulation strategies and other forms of science production.
