These "Terms and Conditions of Use" establish the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and the services we offer. This website provides visitors with a description of our mission and vision, our work approaches, the network that makes up "Umbela Transformaciones Sostenibles, AC" (founders, partners, advisors, collaborators, and allies), as well as the projects we carry out and how you can connect with us using the contact tab. In compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the “Law”) and other related laws, we hereby inform you of the characteristics and purposes of the processing of your personal data carried out by Umbela Transformaciones Sostenibles A.C. (Umbela) in the course of its activities.

Umbela is a civil association whose purpose is to promote the transformation of the world towards sustainability through projects that generate spaces for collaboration to articulate the diversity of knowledge, cultures, approaches, and expertise that contribute to developing and increasing conditions of well-being, justice, and equity in society and the environment.

 

Umbela is located in Mexico City, Mexico, and is responsible for collecting your personal data, for the use and storage of such data, and for its proper protection.

Your personal data may be provided personally and directly by you, either verbally or in writing, by email or correspondence, business cards, or by filling out contact and personal data forms collected through our website or any other means.

 

We collect the following personal data from you: First and last name and Email address.

  • What do we use your personal data for?

To verify your identity and respond to your requests between you and Umbela. To agree on our services. To follow up on the services purchased or contracts concluded. To send you information about our events, calls for proposals, and other initiatives related to Umbela. To analyze information for statistical purposes on the impact of our projects.

 

If you do not want your personal data to be used for these purposes, please let us know by sending an email to contacto@umbela.org. Refusal to allow your personal data to be used for these purposes will not be a reason for us to deny you the services and products you request or contract with us.
